  Bosco Bangalore Receives Mother Teresa Memorial National Award 2017

  The News Paper Association of Karnataka in collaboration with BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore, honoured BOSCO, Bangalore with Mother Teresa Memorial National Award 2017. The award was handed over to Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO, Bangalore by Justice P. Vishwanath Shetty, Honourable Lokayukta, Karnataka State, during the award ceremony at BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore, on June 1, 2017. He opined that BOSCO is rendering yeomen services in the field of care and protection of children. Congratulations to BOSCO, Bangalore!

  Best NGO Awarded to Don Bosco Makkalalaya

  Don Bosco Makkalalaya Mysuru was adjudged as the Best NGO by the Konkani Christian Association Mysuru during its Annual Day Celebrations on February 27, 2017 at the Konkan Bhavan Mysuru. Don Bosco Makkalalaya caters to the education and rehabilitation of child labourers and school dropouts, and conducts residential programmes for urban deprived children. A big word of appreciation to Fr. Francis John and the team.

  BREADS Bags Pascual Chavez Award 2016

  Pascual Chavez Award 2016 for innovative Salesian Ministry in South Asia has been conferred upon BREADS by Fr. Fernández Artime Ángel, Rector Major of the Salesian congregation, during his Team Visit held in Chennai in recognition of its effective and successful implementation of CREAM (Child Rights Education and Action Movement) project. Pascual Chavez Award has been constituted by the SPCSA to give visibility, stimulate innovation in the Salesian Youth Ministry and propagate best practices and innovative models of Salesian ministry in the South Asia Region. Hearty Congratulations to everyone directly involved in the Cream Project and especially Fr. Joy Nedumparambil, the Executive Director, and the staff of BREADS for this wonderful achievement and making all of us feel proud.
